Women Attorneys: Leaving Law Firms, Needing Support

Many women attorneys are leaving law firms before they become partners. Former attorney develops on-line community for women attorneys to address their concerns about the legal profession.

San Diego, CA (PRWEB) August 7, 2004 -- Women attorneys are not advancing in law firms at the same rate as their male counterparts. According to the National Association for Law Placement, women attorneys make up 43 percent of associates/staff attorneys in the nations major law firms. Women comprise only 16 percent of partners in these law firms.
