Global Traveler, the magazine for the business traveler and luxury traveler, Redesign Debuts in August & Secures ABC Audit
New look and ABC audit for Global Traveler Magazine
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 7, 2004 -- Responding to reader feedback gleaned from subscriber surveys, Global Traveler is planning a subtle redesign effective with its August issue. Earlier this month, Francis X. Gallagher, Global Traveler publisher and CEO, announced the appointment of Jonathan McEwan to the post of art director. Together with Global Traveler Editor-in-Chief Lisa Matte, McEwan is redesigning the magazine to make it more reader-friendly, graphically appealing and upscale.
A business travel publication that takes into account the sophisticated lifestyle interests of today's executive travelers, Global Traveler is the publication of choice among seasoned business travelers. No other monthly magazine in its category boasts a higher circulation or page count. A recently completed survey conducted by the Audit Bureau of Circulations pegs Global Traveler s paid circulation at 60,238. The survey covers the three-month period ending April 30.
A circulation audit is essential in todays marketplace," said Gallagher. In fact, theres no reason for any publication not to be audited. Its a relatively simple and inexpensive task that assures advertisers your circulation claims are solid and accurate."
Regarding the soon-to-debut redesign, Matte said, Im very proud of what weve accomplished to date. Clearly, were on to something. With the redesign, were tweaking the structure and design of the magazine to make the content even more accessible to readers."
Global Traveler is a great concept," said McEwan. It goes beyond covering business travel as a day-to-day occurrence by expanding to include the daily interests of executive travelers. Beginning with the August issue, Global Traveler readers will find the same departments theyve come to know and love folded into a more user-friendly design. Images are bolder, titles smaller. Photography will play a stronger role as striking images complement stories about amazing destinations."
