(PRWEB) August 7, 2004 -- Veronica Selig, an honor-role student and member of the Arts Honor Society at Penncrest High School, will be busy this summer designing costumes for a major dance production in Philadelphia called "Illuminescence". A member of the Springfield Mall Teen Board, Veronica has been involved with fashion design and modeling for the past 3 years. Over three successive summers, she has completed most of the fashion courses available at the Moore School of Art and has hosted two fashion shows of her work.
"I like the excitement of Fashion and creating new things!" She says with an infectious smile. At 16, Veronica is already making noise in the fashion industry with her colorful, creative designs. She seems to have a sense for drama and what catches the eye. Working in a multitude of fabric and styles, Veronica enjoys the freedom of expression that fashion design offers. "I don't know if I'm going to do it for a living," she says, "but I'm having a lot of fun right now".
You can catch some of Veronica Selig's designs at the Music & Motion Production of Illuminescence on September 7th, 8th and 14th at the International House, 3701 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia. Tickets are $15 with a discount for students and seniors.
