The September eWomenNetwork Northern Colorado meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at the University Park Holiday Inn, 425 W. Prospect Road in Fort Collins. Informal networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
(PRWEB) August 9, 2004 -- The September eWomenNetwork Northern Colorado meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 15 at the University Park Holiday Inn, 425 W. Prospect Road in Fort Collins. Informal networking will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by the program from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
The speaker for the event will be Dorothy Bland, president and publisher of the Fort Collins Coloradoan newspaper, which employs 230. Dorothy is one of the highest-ranking women in the Gannett Co., Inc., a large diversified news and information company. She recently saw eight years of work by her and her staff come to fruition, as the Coloradoan recently broke ground on a new building to be completed by July 2005 that will double the size of its current facility.
Bland will share some of the secrets of her rise to the top in one of the country's largest media companies. The lessons she has learned are applicable to anyone, whether you own your own business or are a rising corporate star.
