MINORITY SCIENTISTS AND ENGINEERS NAMED FOR 2004 TECHNICAL ACHIEVERS OF THE YEAR AWARDS Honor Intellect!

The National Technical Association is pleased to announce the honorees for our annual Technical Achiever of the Year Awards. Dr. Frederick Humphries, director of the Florida A & M University Center for Science & Engineering Policy, is the keynote speaker for the banquet. The event will take place on September 17, 2004 at the Tuskegee University Kellogg Conference Center.

CLEVELAND, OH (PRWEB) August 31, 2004 -- The National Technical Association is pleased to announce the honorees for our annual Technical Achiever of the Year Awards. Technologist - Carlos R Morrison, NASA Glenn Research Center

Membership Awards

Samuel R. Cheevers Distinguished Service Award - Garry A. Harris            

Fred C. Downs Special Event Award - NTA Cincinnati/University of Cincinnati

The theme for the conference is "Science & Technology: The Research, The Business, The Impact on HBCUs/MIs." This 76th national conference will bring together technical paper presentation sessions, personal and professional workshops, award recognition ceremonies and the Technical Career & Opportunity Fair.

The National Technical Association is the premiere technical organization of scientists, engineers, architects, technologists, educators and technical business entrepreneurs for African Americans. Founded in 1925 and incorporated in 1926, the NTAs legacy is long, its heritage strong, and its programs are pioneering and unique. The NTA is a 501 (c)(3) organization.
