Peter Deutsch Launches New TV Campaign Spot on Voters Rights

Rep. Alcee Hastings, Michael Moore look back at Peter Deutsch's role in 2000 Presidential Election

(PRWEB) August 13, 2004 -- Recent testimonials from Rep. Alcee Hastings and Michael Moore coupled with news footage from the 2000 Presidential election recount create a vivid montage and a quick history lesson about Congressman Peter Deutschs tireless work during those critical weeks.

The newest campaign spot, which will show in select markets beginning August 13th, shows Congressman Peter Deutsch challenging efforts by Republicans to steal the election, demanding a state-wide recount, fighting for Democrats, and taking that fight to chambers of Congress.

Says Moore, "I sat there and watched that, Congressman Deutsch, and I was so proud of you, the way that you stood up, fighting away, not taking it."

A teleconference for all media has been scheduled for Friday at 2:00 p.m. Congressman Peter Deutsch, Congressman Hastings, media consultants Mark Penn and Gayle Andrews, as well as producer/director Marius Penscner, and a campaign spokesperson will participate.

This spot can be viewed August 13th at 1:00 p.m. at the following link:
