Mouse Clinical Institute Enters into Agreement with Merck & Co., Inc.
The research agreement will be primarily directed toward providing Merck with the production and characterization of genetically engineered mouse models for use in Mercks research and development activities.
Strasbourg, France (PRWEB) August 15, 2004 -- The Institut Clinique de la Souris/Mouse Clinical Institute (MCI") today announced that they have entered into a three year agreement with Merck & Co., Inc (NYSE:MRK) to provide certain services for Merck. In addition, Merck will also have the option to obtain licenses to certain other research tools from the MCI.
The research agreement will be primarily directed toward providing Merck with the production and characterization of genetically engineered mouse models for use in Mercks research and development activities. MCI will receive research funding for these activities during the initial term of the agreement of three years. Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
