Kori Linae Carothers has just released The Road Less Traveled" CD, a collection of original New Age instrumental music by the pianist/composer.

Kori is a woman of strong emotions, and she expresses them through her music. As she likes to say, Music fills in, when words are not enough". Each song on The Road Less Traveled" is an expression of an experience in Koris life which evoked strong feelings. She shares the inspiration for each song on her CD jacket, and on her website under Every song has a story...".

Koris composition abilities are heard in the ethnic tracks Spanish Dance" and Asian Wind", in the inspirational tracks The Road Less Traveled", There I Go" and The Day", and in the more personal tracks Judgement", Admiral" and Airs".

Koris musical influences reflect the eclectic nature of her own music: Yanni, George Winston, Shadowfax, Vangelis, Enya, Tangerine Dream, John Williams, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Genesis, Eric Clapton, Marc Cohn.

Kori was born in Cedar City, Utah. She grew up in Minnesota listening to a variety of Rock and Roll to Jazz artists. As a child, her parents encouraged her interest in music by having her take piano lessons. Kori majored in Music, and during her studies she composed over 20 musical songs, before she had heard of New Age music.
