The WiderWeb web accessibility gateway provides an automated transcoding function to change a standard web site into a W3C accessible version, on a per user request basis with full session control. (PRWEB) August 17, 2004 -- The UK's Disability Discrimination Act requires that all web sites are made accessible to people with disabilities, for which the W3C standards body has issued clear deployment guidelines. The WiderWeb system works by web site owners placing a link from their home page redirecting disabled users to their site through the gateway. With the introduction of the WiderWeb service this can now be aided by the web hosting industry itself. Moore Innovations now announces a version of WiderWeb to be run by web hosting companies themselves. The setup is simple with a minimum of resources and administration can then be completely automated.
