Online Celebrity Auction To Benefit Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee (PCAT)

(PRWEB) August 18, 2004 -- In an effort to raise awareness on the immense problem of child abuse in Tennessee, www.NashvilleBids.com will be hosting its first annual Online Celebrtiy Auction to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Tennessee. (PCAT)

In Tennessee, the Department of Children's Services responds to over 37,000 reports of child abuse per year. Every day, more than 100 children are reported abused. According to the Department's most recent statistics, forty-one percent of the reports involve children under the age of five.

PCAT is a non-profit organization that has played an active roll in the prevention of child abuse and neglect on Tennessee's children. The agency has provided free services and programs to over 15,000 Tennessee children and families. Their unique programs and services are critical to the prevention mission.

We invite everyone to participate in the auction as its success enables PCAT services and programs to remain free for all families.

The Online Celebrity Auction will begin on November 15th, 2004 at www.NashvilleBids.com and will run for thirty days.
