RESET expands their dedicated Fujitsu tape drive support center that provides factory-level service and replacement parts. This expansion facilitates faster service for the massive Fujitsu customer base that RESET serves worldwide.

RESET, The Parts Support Company, has announced the expansion of their dedicated parts support center focused solely on the replacement and repair of all Fujitsu tape drives (18 and 36 Track), libraries and automatic cartridge loaders (ACL), including the Diana family and all of the associated 248X models. Over the past few years, RESET’s Fujitsu related business has nearly doubled and continues to grow, prompting this expansion. According to John Puccini, RESET’s CEO, “Since 1998, Reset has been the primary source for Fujitsu tape drive repair and replacement services, and we have serviced more drives than any other company world wide. Our on-going commitment to support Fujitsu products stems from a very long-standing relationship that enables RESET to perform services that mirror and actually improve upon the OEM standards”.

Fujitsu is a leading provider of customer-focused IT and communications solutions for the global marketplace. Pace-setting technologies, highly reliable computing platforms, and a worldwide corps of systems and services experts such as RESET, position Fujitsu to deliver comprehensive solutions that open up infinite possibilities for its customers' success.

RESET has over 30 years of experience in the computer, telecommunication, healthcare and electronics industries providing quality repairs, dependable logistics support, controlled warehousing and flexible distribution services. RESET’s ISO certification reinforces the company’s principles of not handling failed parts from a “repair” standpoint, rather from a “manufacturing” standpoint. Not fixing a part, rather re-manufacturing that part to meet, or in many cases exceed OEM specifications, often replacing individual components with newer, next-generation ones that will outperform the original components and improve the overall integrity of the part.
