ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) August 19, 2004
Prominent Placement, Inc., a leading Atlanta search engine marketing firm, today announced that its founder, Stacy Williams, will moderate two panel discussions at the Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association (AiMA) upcoming meeting. The AiMA event, entitled ÂSearchÂing for Answers, will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2004, at the Georgia Tech Global Learning & Conference Center in Atlanta from 6 to 9 p.m.
According to Safa Rashtchy, Senior Analyst and Managing Director of Piper Jaffray, global search revenues are expected to grow from $1.3 billion in 2002 to $10.8 billion in 2008. This estimate excludes local search. However, Geoff Ramsey, the CEO of eMarketer, has reported that local search represents 25.1% of commercial searches, making it a major growth opportunity.
The first panel discussion that Stacy Williams will moderate will include Jeff Coyle, Search Marketing Analyst for KnowledgeStorm, and Ernie White, Assistant Vice President, Business Development, for KnowX, LLC. The second panel that she will moderate will include Dan Boberg, Director of Strategic Alliances for Overture, Caroline Ernst, VP Client Services for 360i, John Waddy, President of TwentySix2 Marketing, and a representative of MSN. Attendees of the event, which is part of the AiMA Education Series, will hear these experts explain how to capitalize on all the options available and keep up-to-date on the constant changes in this industry.
