Lacey Chabert, Kerr Smith and Jordan Ladd have signed on as the leads in the poliical murder mystery Accidental Murder. The independent film written and directed by Jeff Vargen is set to shoot this Fall for a 2005 release

(PRWEB) August 19, 2004 -- Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls, Daddy Daycare, Party of Five), Kerr Smith (Dawsons Creek, Final Destination), and Jordan Ladd (Cabin Fever, Club Dread) have been added to the cast of the independent film Accidental Murder.

Written and directed by Jeff Vargen, Accidental Murder stars Kerr Smith as Adam a newly hired Capital Hill aide who gets involved in a murderous love triangle with political ramifications. Libby (Lacey Chabert) is an eccentric neighbor who knows much more than she tells, and Jordan Ladd plays Rebecca, Adam's very ambitious TV Reporter girlfriend.

Set in Washington D.C. the production will shoot in Los Angeles in the Fall for a 2005 release.
