North Charleston, SC Â? Online consumers can now receive free, unbiased information about a broad range of telecommunication products and services, thanks to a new user review section on PhoneDog.com.

Anyone can visit PhoneDog.com and read what others have said about their experiences with a wide variety of reputable companies, such as AT&T and MCI. The new user review section is a major benefit to consumers because it gives them fair and first-hand information that can help them make the best possible purchase decisions for their needs, according to Tom Klein, a Business Member of PhoneDog LLC, which is based in Charleston, SC.

“These are actual reviews.” Klein says “Instead of taking our word for it, they can get information from real people with direct experience with the companies and their services.”

As of August 11th, PhoneDog.com already has collected nearly 500 user reviews. Surprisingly, about 90 percent of them have been “very positive," Klein says. Many of the companies that were evaluated scored in the range of 4.4 and 4.8, with the highest possible rating being 5.

The reviews, which run 75 to 300 words (but can be as long as 700 words), are designed to provide specific features about the companies and their services, as well as the user’s experience dealing with the company. The best reviews reveal whether customers liked or disliked the product/service and why. Negative feedback is allowed, as long as it’s backed by verifiable information.

“We lay out all the information we think that the customer needs to know,” Klein says. “We provide a better platform for people to compare the various services.”

PhoneDog.com gives residential and business consumers a fast, easy and convenient way to review multiple services and multiple carriers. It was created to serve as a “true” resource and promote any plan that meets its requirements of providing value, full-service customer support, and a no-nonsense rate. The site features a broad range of telecom offerings that include local, long-distance, cellular, VOIP Broadband (Internet) phone and even satellite phone service.

With coverage of more than 100 telecom providers, Klein believes PhoneDog.com is the most comprehensive and unbiased site of its kind. “We show more,” he explains. “We list more companies and we layout the information in an easy to compare format. We’re the only company that allows user feedback for most telecom services.”

Over the coming months, PhoneDog, LLC will be making major enhancements to its comparison of services to provide its visitors with even greater benefits.
