Peter Deutsch Endorsed by Humane USA (correction)

Congressman Peter Deutsch today has been endorsed by Humane USA. The organization issued the following statement:

(PRWEB) August 19, 2004 -- The Florida primary is August 31st, and we have the chance to elect a leading animal welfare advocate to the U.S. Senate. Remember, it is Congress that makes the nation's laws relating to animals. In order to have humane laws, we need humane lawmakers. Peter Deutsch would be one of those lawmakers. Peter Deutsch, who currently represents Florida's 20th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives, is running for the Democratic nomination to Florida's open seat in the U.S. Senate.
