GAYLE JACKSON SLOAN, author of Saturdays Child, is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended Philadelphia College of Textiles and Science (now Philadelphia University), where she studied interior design. She is currently a legal assistant at a prestigious Center City Philadelphia law firm, hoping one day to be a full time writer. When she is not busy teaching her grandchildren to say Nana is a Diva," she enjoys listening to music, interior designing, surfing the net, reading, watching old movies and gardening. She is currently busy working on her second novel, tentatively entitled Wednesdays Woes," as well as With This Lie," and Dancin in My Shoes."

TAHIRA CHLOE MAHDI is a Maryland native whose career work includes radio, television and comedy in the Washington, D.C. area. The author is also a freelance writer and entertainment reporter.

JESSICA TILLES is a native of Washington, DC and the bestselling author of Anything Goes, In My Sisters Corner and Apple Tree. Jessicas travels down the literary road began late in life. Satirical letters to her friends, lovingly termed dissertations, regarding a myriad of topics, and her love of books, encouraged her to recapture her dormant writing skills and push forward with creating her first novel, Anything Goes. Jessica is the recipient of the 2003 Memphis Black Writers Conference and Southern Film Festival Rising Star" Award and the Jackson Mississippi Readers Clubs Contribution to African American Literature" Award. She has been featured in Memphis ViP Magazine, The Clarion-Ledger (Jackson, MS), on Black Men In America.com eZine and in Booking Matters Magazine. Jessica is currently penning her next novel, The Sweet Taste of Revenge, the long awaited sequel to Anything Goes, coming December 2004.
