Found: One Perfect Hero

From far and wide came men of good face and noble heart to vie for the designation of Perfect Hero. But alas, only one could bear the title with great pride. It is with much fanfare and ado that Echelon Press presents the 2004 Perfect Hero -- Ed Scott! (Insert blaring trumpets and great cheers)

(PRWEB) August 21, 2004 -- With nearly 50% of Echelon's current and upcoming titles being in the romance genre, the search for a premier cover model is a natural progression of growth for the independent publisher. Echelon Press has set forth the continuing search for the most handsome of men to blaze a trail of passion across the lands from the covers of our books.

Ed Scott, who makes his home in Arizona, brought a devastating amount of charm and maturity to our contest. In the prime of his life, this hero has set a precedent for all to strive for their personal best. Having trained and worked as Police Officer, Firefighter, and Paramedic, Mr. Scott continues to pursue his personal interests. Along with a list of hobbies including raising baby birds and horseback riding, Ed Scott is a published author and the proudest of fathers.

Echelon Press will proudly sponsor the Perfect Hero -- Ed Scott into the RT BookClub Mr. Romance Cover Model Pageant 2005. The pageant will be held during the magazine's annual Booklovers Convention in St. Louis, MO in April 2005. The Perfect Hero -- Ed Scott will also be featured on the cover of the first Men of Entice Novella Anthology published by Echelon Press that will debut at the convention.

Fans worldwide voted ($1.00 per vote) for the contestants and the proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation...the true heroes.

In 2003 we found success with the debut of the Perfect Hero contest. Our winner, Evan Scott of Florida, went on to take 2nd Runner up in the Mr. Romance Cover Model Pageant. He also accepted the Contestant's Choice Award. He is currently negotiating several projects with a variety of publishers and organizations.
