ONS plans to deploy facilities up to Pikes Peak for interconnected 9Gbs transport into underserved areas of the United States.

“Bod, which stands for 'Bandwidth-on-Demand,' provides last-mile and middle-mile services for WISPs to reach more competitive pricing for upstream Internet bandwidth and other wholesale services,” said Tab Schadt, Vice President of Marketing for Bod. “We are looking at WIMAX to explode over the next two years. We expect Intel to drive this format, which will help settle some of the technological turmoil. The number for the under-served broadband market across America is staggering. Bod expects the WISP market to penetrate these regions in a fragmented way, while major market makers drive a shift to mobile computing in the metro arena.”

Optimum Network Services, LLC is one of the best telecommunication “meet me” rooms in Colorado and has an exceptional small business track record for serving the community of Colorado Springs and the Denver Front Range. ONS, LLC will continue to provide collocation services and other network support for regional and national ISPs. This is facilitated by our massive fiber assets from ICG and Qwest.

ONS, LLC has an ongoing strategic relationship with Motorola and provides their Canopy last-mile solution from the 14 story roof downtown.

In the Homeland Security and government market sector which is strong in Colorado Springs, the company has plans for the deployment of an Information Securities Lab. ONS has announced an IPV6 Consortium planned for deployment in October which will support this lab.

ONS was founded in 1998 and acquired the Phoenix Network and SingTel’s Switchnet facilities to migrate and switch four million minutes of prepaid calling card traffic. The holding company sold its asset to Qwest and was reorganized by its remaining partner(s).
