Verlo Mattress Factory Stores of Whitewater Announces New Ownership

Verlo Mattress Factory Stores of Whitewater, Delafield and Johnson Creek announces the transfer of ownership to Adel and Jane Salameh, seasoned franchise owners within the Verlo organization. The transfer of ownership closed earlier this month.

Whitewater, WI (PRWEB) August 22, 2004 -- Verlo Mattress Factory Stores, the nations largest Craftsman-Direct® mattress retailer, announces the transfer of ownership of its Whitewater organization to Adel and Jane Salameh.

The Whitewater organization includes a retail/assembly facility located at W3130 State Road 59, Whitewater, and two retail/showroom locations at 2734 Hillside Drive, Delafield and 480 Village Walk Lane, Johnson Creek.

Salameh is no stranger to the Verlo family. In 1993, he began his Verlo career as the owner of the Racine/Kenosha markets. In 1995, he acquired two of the original 10 Verlo stores in Waukegan, Illinois and Round Lake Beach, Illinois. After selling the Racine/Kenosha markets to Milwaukee franchise owner, Todd Hansen (who still owns these locations today), Salameh ventured ahead by purchasing the founding Wheeling, Illinois store, along with the Arlington Heights, Illinois and Libertyville, Illinois stores in 1997. Over time, he combined the Waukegan/Round Lake showrooms with the Wheeling retail/assembly location and opened several additional showroom stores to establish this market under one organization, based in Mundelein, Illinois. He also became the first franchisee to develop the central factory concept used for multi-unit franchise organizations. In 2003, Salameh sold the Mundelein organization and in 2004 decided to return to the Verlo family. He purchased company-owned Whitewater organization, closing on the sale earlier this month.

Adel has always liked the Verlo concept and is very pleased to be back in the Verlo system. "Verlo offers a unique model. It is wonderful to see the product come together from beginning to end. I fully enjoy working with the team and helping customers achieve a good night's sleep," says Salameh.
