QuickSet International Inc. was recognized by AAI Corporation in Hunt Valley, Maryland at its RQ-7 Shadow Supplier Conference, for its work as part of the Tactical Unmanned Air Vehicle Team (TUAVT). A tactical unmanned air vehicle is a small aircraft that allows for the gathering of intelligence, surveillance, and targeting. AAI uses QuickSet’s QPT 20 pan and tilt along with our Hercules tripods for the TUAV. The purpose of the conference was to recognize the key suppliers that participated in the TUAVT team. Mr. Joseph G. Thomas, Vice President and General Manager of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Systems (UAV), congratulated the suppliers on the highly successful program and noted, “…we are saving lives of soldiers in Iraq every day.” QuickSet is proud to be part of the AAI TUAVT.
