Gospel Radio Personality/Comedian Invited to Brazil for Missions

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 23, 2004 -- Antonio Johnson, a Dallas metroplex area radio, TV personality and Gospel Comedian, has been invited by the city of Rio de Janeiro, to visit Brazil as ambassador of Gospel Music and of this great country.

He and several area artists and groups will participate in the Summer Gospel Festival to be held in the cities of Foz do Iguassu and Rio de Janeiro in December 2004. The event is a promotion of New Vision International, Inc.

Mr. Johnson is the host for the TV show DFW Gospel Sounds on PAX. In the afternoons, he presents the Antonio Johnson Show on KHVN-Heaven 97, the Gospel Music Station, being also very active in the promotion of Gospel Music events in the state of Texas.

Asked about this invitation, Mr. Johnson said that he is very, very pleased with the opportunity to visit Rio de Janeiro, one of the most beautiful cities in the world and, Foz do Iguassu, which showcases the Falls, twice as bigger than Niagara Falls.
In Iguassu Falls, Mr. Johnson continues, our team will sponsor and participate in a very exciting project that will distribute 100.000 Bibles directly to the homes. We will coordinate 10 teams of 10 volunteers each, that will go door-to-door and, at the end of the day we'll reap the following results:                                                                    
1,000 homes visited (4,000 people+);
1,000 Bibles presented to 1,000 families;
1,000 Bible verses read to the visited families;                    
1,000 Prayers with the families' members (4,000+);
4,000+ Invitations to attend a church service;
We will also minister in song to many congregations. Getting the word out and showing Gods love is what is so exciting about the Mission to Brazil.
