lafcpug Heading to EMX

The Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group announced that it will put on a show at the Entertainment Media Expo, Tuesday, August 31 in Studio C beginning at 6:30PM at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood Ca. Theme of the show is DVD from A to Z"

(PRWEB) August 25, 2004 -- The Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group announced that it will put on a show at the Entertainment Media Expo, Tuesday, August 31 in Studio C beginning at 6:30PM at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel in Hollywood Ca. Theme of the show is DVD from A to Z"

Scheduled on the agenda will be Apple's Brian Schmidt who will show off DVD Studio Pro 3 tips and Tricks. DVD Guru Bruce Nazarian will demo what's new in DVD Studio 3. Scott Esterson from DTS will rig up Studio C for Surround Sound to show off the new software audio encoders from DTS. Bill Reckwerdt from Optibase will show off the brand new high end hardware MPEG 2 encoder card for OSX. And Brad Wright, author of DVDxDV will discuss using DVDs as part of your production work flow.

There will also be a raffle at the end of the show.
