Tampa, FL (PRWEB) August 26, 2004 -
ChurchForce Inc., a small internet and business development firm, has finalized an agreement with Christian media giant Salem Communications to sell its popular career website ChristianJobs.Com, for $250,000. The ChurchForce developed website becomes the latest addition to the Salem Web Network. ChurchForce plans to use the acquired capital to propel its flagship NetMinistry website division. The sale includes a substantial advertising agreement designed to bring increased awareness to ChurchForce's website and business development services over the next 24 months.
ChurchForce is pleased by Salem's commitment to carry out the original mission and vision of ChristianJobs.Com. The assignment of Salem network advertising resources to ChurchForce will assist in enabling ChurchForce to expand its other initiatives and continue to serve the Christian community with the philosophy of technology development through Body-wide collaboration.
"This sale comes at a time when ChurchForce is experiencing significant success with its ministry and business website offerings, which was leaving little room for our career placement and employment advertising business," commented Chief Executive Officer, Jose Gomez, Jr. "The most significant outcome of this acquisition is that our team will now be able to focus 100% on delivering expanded services through our popular NetMinistry web site program. Our prayer is that ChristianJobs.Com will be expanded to the vision originally given to us and what we realized was not possible with current resources."
ChurchForce was launched in December of 2001 with the mission of creating connection-building technology tools for the Christian community. It began by building the first automated version of ChristianJobs.Com and propelling it to become the largest, most popular Christian career website in the world. In late 2002, the company released the NetMinistry Website Program. The NetMinistry development platform reduces the time required to build complex, custom, database-driven websites. Clients are able to manage website content, layout, commerce and an advanced set of tools and features without having to hire expensive website professionals. NetMinistry has been embraced by the churches, ministries and Christian businesses introduced to it. The company's customer base is expected to be number in the thousands within months. ChurchForce also created the Christian Entrepreneur Network which boasts a roster of over 13,000 entrepreneurs from all over the world which is scheduled to re-launch at an undisclosed date.
