Dan Lynch's Unique Portraits Featured at Amazon's Seattle Headquarters
HearthWorks is inspired by people's lives -- their children, weddings and homes -- reflected as paintings that evoke the grace and splendor of the Art Nouveau era.
(PRWEB) August 26, 2004 -- Dan Lynch of HearthWorks studios has an exclusive exhibition of his work at the headquarters of Amazon.com in Seattle, Washington. Mr. Lynch's work features personalized paintings of family and home in a style that is inspired by the paint masters of the early twentieth century. His paintings are customized both in terms of their subject matter -- ranging from children, adults, homes and wedding portraits -- as well as where they will be shown in the home.
"This decade is about people concentrating on family, and nesting," says Lynch. "Many people sacrificed their personal lives in the 1990s to work 80 hour weeks for high tech companies. Since the tech boom has abated, many people are rediscovering home and family. My art is a great way to create a family heirloom to pass down to future generations."
Mr. Lynch's artwork is very reminiscent of Gustav Klimt and Maxfield Parrish -- large canvasses with metallic pigments and layers of washes that endow them with great dimensionality.
"A lot of portraits are executed very competently, but tend to look alike," says Lynch. "There are aesthetic values from the Art Nouveau and Craftsman period that have endured. I try my best to pick up where artists left off from that era."
Mr. Lynch's paintings are on temporary display at Amazon on an exclusive basis. Learn more about HearthWorks personalized classic artwork at www.hearthworks.net.
