RK Solutions LLC Announces eRate applicability in SIS system
RK Solutions (RKS), provider of integrated K-12 Student Information Systems (SIS) today announced that Schools-On-I-Net now meets the requirements for Federal eRate discounts. RKSs' goal in meeting the eRate requirements is to be able to offer its connectivity and information solution to those schools and communities with limited financial resources.
Oradell, NJ (PRWEB) August 28, 2004 -- As is the case, many schools districts throughout the United states want their student populations to be better educated. Education and education in the use of technology go hand in hand. A fact of life in many communities is that they don't have the financial means to afford the technology. While many schools and school districts don't have the resources to afford greater use of technology, the situation is getting better. Federal programs under the auspices of the NCLB are making more funds available.
One area that remains lacking is in the home. While school and school districts may eventually acquire current technology, students and parents will not reap its full benefit. The Schools-On-I-Net system makes use of multiple media delivery resources to bring the parents and children into the education loop, even if they don't have computers.
The Schools-On-I-Net system enables parents and students who do not have computers at home, or easy access to one, or are computer illiterate, to receive timely information on upcoming tests, grades, attendance, special events, etc. This system can also be used to communicate with teachers and administrators.
About RKS RKS was established in 1998 to create the Schools-On-I-Net platform from the ground up. It was designed to be "student oriented" by providing real-time, private and secure, monitored connectivity and shared information between students, teachers, parents and administrators. The Schools-On-I-Net platform is based on integrated connectivity that automatically associates parents with students, students with teachers, teachers with various school divisions, and so forth. These automated relationships establish the basis on which Schools-On-I-Net performs a myriad of functions. For more information go to www.SOINk12.com .
