Softtek Enhances Service Offering through BPO Services

Softtek's BPO service offering is the result of five years of experience managing non-critical business processes for Fortune 100 companies

Monterrey, Mexico (PRWEB) August 27, 2004 -- Softtek the leading Near Shore® Service provider announced today the availability of a set of services that provide its clients with Near Shore Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) solutions. These services are geared to add value to the client through the outsourcing of business functions using information technology as an enabler, which are combined with the proven Near Shore® Delivery Model created by Softtek.

Beni Lopez, CEO of Softtek US comments; This is not a new offering; with the acquisition of GE Ddemesis, in December 2003, we not only added extremely talented individuals, but also a set of processes and practices that complemented Softteks existing capabilities; among the latter were a couple of BPO practices with several contracts in place. Our people have been providing these services for more than five years".

The Near Shore BPO offering supports two main business areas: Human Resources and IT. For HR, Softtek has established shared services centers for processes like on board transfers, community services campaign management and employee data maintenance & reporting. Whereas for the IT area, BPO services include processes like asset management, security enforcement and desktop & server support.

Other business areas supported on an Ad-hoc basis include Supply Management, Marketing and Finance & Accounting.

Last year we handled more than 23,000 transactions and 20,000 calls as a second and third level of support, providing our clients with savings of up to 10% in their HR Investment Factor, or cost per employee served; these are savings on top of the standard Near Shore® Services benefit. Services can be fully operational, in a customized fashion in 5 weeks or less", said Juan Carlos Ruiz, BPO Product Manager for Softtek.

Fortune 100 clients of the company have received benefits by achieving higher quality levels and cost reduction in non-critical business processes, due to efficiency gains through process automation and a rigorous use of Six Sigma, a customer focused and data driven management method to achieve excellency in business processes.

Softteks BPO services stand out from its competitors due to the Near Shore® approach, which has its foundation in proximity, ease of communication and similar business culture, while supported by the unique legal groundwork of NAFTA for data privacy and intellectual property protection.

BPO clients of the company include Fortune 100 companies in Financial Services, Technology, Corporate Services and Media industries.
