Yorkshire Authors New Releases
Two more books from Yorkshire Writer
Eileen Knowles
(PRWEB) August 29, 2004 -- Eileen has written several romances in the past twelve years, five of which found their way to the library shelves. They were first published in large print by F A Thorpe (Leicester) for their Linford Romance Series.
In April this year Eileen re-issued her first three published novels in one Omnibus Edition". This project was initiated when PABD.com contacted her out of the blue. PABD.com was a new venture and it gave Eileen the idea to have a go for herself. It was a brave move to become a publisher as well as an author, but despite many minor obstacles the finished book is superbly produced and selling well.
Omnibus Edition" contains three stories -- The Astor Inheritance", Mistress at the Hall", and All for Jolie", and sells for 11.99. To buy Omnibus Edition" log on to Eileens web site, or order it from any bookstore.
She also has another novel recently published and available in bookshops entitled The Stanton Charade". This is an American publication that was scheduled for release in October 2004. The Stanton Charade" is another delightful romance with a Lake District setting, and it sells for 12.50.
Eileen proudly admits to being born and bred in Yorkshire, and says she wouldnt want to live anywhere else. Shes an active member of Scarborough Writers Circle, the Scarborough Writers Society, and also the Whitby Writers. She finds their camaraderie and understanding extremely beneficial, and would recommend any budding writer to join such groups.
Eileen and her family now live in an old farmhouse a few miles from Whitby, and she is determined to continue writing despite the many and various calls on her time. She still has a love of the Lakeland fells, but regretfully doesnt manage to walk them as often as she would like. However, the picturesque Esk Valley where she lives has its compensations.
