Achieving Immediate Gains and Long-Term Growth." With SAP and Microsoft both positioning themselves to be providers of Business Intelligence Software for Small Business, this should be an exciting presentation.

As Vice President of Small and Midsize Business Channel Sales, All-in-One, for SAP America, Inc., Rick Pitts is responsible for overseeing SAP America's SMB reseller channel sales and development for the mySAP All-In-One solution portfolio.

Prior to assuming this position in January, 2003, Pitts served as President and Chief Executive Officer for IXOS Software, Inc., a subsidiary of IXOS Software AG, an SAP software business partner, responsible for all sales, marketing, consulting, training, customer support, and operations throughout Canada, US, and Latin America. Pitts also served with SAP from 1996-1999 as Vice President, Complementary Software Program, where he had responsibility for starting and growing SAP America's initial program and business development efforts with third-party software partners.

Before joining SAP America in 1996, Pitts was Director, Enterprise Systems Marketing, for Compaq Computer Corporation. He directed a group responsible for strategic relationships with software, technology, and systems integration partners such as Microsoft, Intel, SAP, Oracle, Lotus, Novell, Sybase, Accenture, PriceWaterhouse, Lante, etc.

There is ample free parking on the street after 6 PM, Barnes and Noble has parking across the street, and there is the Jack London Parking Garage next to Yoshi's. BART is a ten minute walk from the hotel, the San Francisco Oakland ferry terminal is two blocks north of the Jack London Inn. SAVE the air, and use public transportation.
