(PRWEB) September 1, 2004 -- Keep it turning has already been featured on Promo Only, Cdpool and the Record pool as well as being aired on several radio stations in the UK. The single, is now to get an official release on 12 inch vinyl, as part of the 'ripple release strategy adopted by Vhp Records that will see the single released in stages, with the 12 inch release being the first stage. The single is also being released as a digital single, on the 27th of September, distributed to all the major online Digital distribution services in the UK, including Wippit, Napster and Sony Connect. This will ensure that fans can get upfront digital copies as soon as the vinyl records start getting played in clubs.
The ripple release is a process whereby our products are released in stages, gaining momentum with each stage of the release. The first stage, is on vinyl, with the target audience being Djs, both bedroom and professional. This would give our music more club and bar exposure. The second stage of the release process is on digital singles, whereby we reward early adopters who are willing to purchase the single online. Finally with the success garnered from the first 2 stages, the single is then released to retailers as a physical enhanced CD, with a video of the single". DJKZ
The final stage of the ripple release process is when the enhanced CD single hits the stores on the 29th of November.
Vhp Records are selling the records direct to DJs, vinyl collectors and retail stores utilizing the concept of Vinyl on Demand, whereby records are manufactured after orders have been processed. The way this works is simple. The single is mastered using DMM technology and as soon as orders are processed online, the pressing plant is notified and the vinyl records are then manufactured, whether the orders are for one copy or one thousand copies.
Vhp Records are currently taking advance orders from their mail order page www.vhprecords.com/html/mail-order.html ahead of the official release date and are giving away a legal digital download with every full priced single purchased online by fans and DJs. Vhp Records have made it easy for fans to pre-order the single on their website. Fans can listen to clips and then with just a few clicks, pre-order the single ahead of its release date 27/09/2004. All fans who pre-order shall be automatically entered into a draw whereby one lucky person shall win a signed commemorative 12 inch and t-shirt.
Y:K Records (Australia) are handling the release in Australia/New Zealand and retail stores can order the record using the AMROC electronic catalogue system.
