Countdown to Wine & Biscuits" Celebration in the Hamptons to Benefit Two Animal Organizations

Leashes and Lovers hosts a dog-friendly, family-friendly celebration in the Hamptons to benefit two animal charities on Sunday, September 12th at the Bridgehampton Community House. Event includes: wine and food tasting, live music, canine couture and cuisine, Clifford the Big Red Dog, dog yoga, dog massage, silent auction, and more.

Meanwhile, no one will go hungry as Alison, Almond, Babettes, Crumbs and La Parmigiana will be cooking up scrumptious dishes to savor. And, no dog will be begging for food as their taste buds will be more than satisfied by the irresistible canine cuisine of Teddys Dog Treats and Buttercups Paw-tisserie!

Toes will be tapping and tails will be wagging as Hound Dog" takes on a literal groove performed by Pet-Rox (a rock n roll/blues band comprised of animal professionals including a house-call veterinarian, a therapy dog handler, and a zookeeper) and Murray Weinstock of Dog Tunes shares songs from his new CD, Tails of the City." Forget Fashion Week in Manhattan as several of Elsas Ark adoptable dogs will strut their paws in the Dog-Run Way fashion show wearing canine couture from top and emerging doggie designers and boutiques including: Prissy Paws, mhound, Harbor Pets, Smitherman & Barnwell, cloak & dawggie, Doggles, Dogs are People Too, and more.

And, how do you put a price on the unique items offered in the silent auction such as having your dog featured in author Cynthia Baxters next mystery novel, signed original artwork from Hamptons artist Mary Lynn Blasutta, and Bedell Cellars newest Cupola reserve wine not yet available to the public.
