Dallas, TX & Stockholm Sweden (PRWEB) September 2, 2004 -- AVIDWireless, a leading provider of mobile software and services, and Imsys Technologies, a supplier of networked microprocessor solutions to OEMs, today announced a partnership. AVIDWireless introduced a new rugged computer, AVIDirector, for networked machine-to-machine (M2M) applications.

AVIDirector leverages Imsys processor and its Java-based SNAP platform to provide a superior ease of use product, with a faster time to market," says Rodney Montrose, President AVIDWireless. Imsys development tools will allow developers to create custom applications that can run on the AVIDirector M2M platform.
