(PRWEB) September 3, 2004 -- The Long Island Home Improvement and Remodeling Expo returns with inspiration, excitement, industry-leading advice and celebrities to help Long Islanders jazz up their homes this Fall. With more than 38 percent new exhibitors, Long Islands favorite Home Show will take place from Friday, September 17 to Sunday, September 19, at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Fall traditionally marks the beginning of the school year and regular routines, but there is nothing routine about this Falls Home Show. The lovable and creative Frank Bielec from the popular TLC program Trading Spaces will be appearing at the Show and offering attendees a special glimpse into his style and behind-the-scenes information from one of Americas favorite home makeover programs.
September is also a time when people start spending more time in their homes, and no one better is better qualified to show Long Islanders the hottest products and gadgets for home and entertainment than Dr. Gadget, a.k.a. Dave Dettman. Soon to appear in the November release of 20th Century Foxs motion picture Mr. and Mrs. Smith, starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the funny and energetic Dr. Gadget regularly appears on television programs and is a noted expert in consumer products. He will be demonstrating the hottest consumer products and giving more than $5,000 worth of them away to lucky Home Show attendees. With more than 300 exhibitors, how-to sessions, new product giveaways and contests, this is the one Home Show that will help consumers fall in love with their homes all over again.
Long Island home owners continue to make improvements to their homes at an unbelievable pace. Our last Home Show alone accounted for an estimated $22.8 million in home improvement activity alone. With the continuing popularity of Frank Bielec and his TV program Trading Spaces, we see this trend continuing and growing stronger. We are pleased that our Show is bringing ideas, information and industry experts to the people of Long Island," said Show Manager Karen Marconi.
