Mothers Rally Against Bush in Beaverton Oregon.

The MOB, Mothers Opposing Bush, is having a rally on Monday, September 6th. It is a new twist on "Labor" Day, drawing attention to women's issues in this election (think delivery room, not union members).

(PRWEB) September 4, 2004 -- Join The MOB!!

We are Mothers (and others) opposing Bush because this administrations policies endanger our families and our country.

Our mission is to get the facts out, get the voters out and get this administration out of office.

Why we oppose Bush:

We are Mothers Opposing Bush because this administration is leading our country away from our core values of honesty, compassion, community and patriotism.

We deserve a president who heals conflicts with conversation and cooperation, not by bullying.

We deserve a president who will not gamble away our savings on tax cuts for the wealthy and an unjustified war that is leaving our descendants with an overwhelming deficit.

We deserve a president who manages a budget that leaves no child behind, hungry, uneducated or impoverished.

We deserve a president who believes sick people need equal access to quality healthcare, and that benefits for the elderly should not dwindle.

We deserve a president who honors and protects our natural resources so that our own children can inherit, and pass on, a healthy planet.

We deserve a president who respects the civil rights of every citizen, and leaves choices on God and marriage up to each individual.

The Beaverton, Oregon MOB is having a rally on Monday, September 6th from 2:00-5:00.

We feel that Labor" Day is a perfect time to draw attention to womens issues in this election.

Please bring your kids and grandkids and join us for speeches, food and music at Griffith Park (access off Griffith, South of Beaverton Hillsdale Highway -- across from Fred Meyer) in Beaverton.

Women will be the deciding factor in this election. Lets send a message to President Bush that defeating him has been put on our To-Do" list.
