LandlordMax continues to build on its award winning property management software by releasing its latest major version, LandlordMax V1.08. This new version has been greatly influenced by the feedback and comments of its users, mainly through the company's Idea Initiative Program. The results of this Idea Initiative Program can really be seen in the latest version of LandlordMax's accounting section of the software, where major enhancements are evident. In addition, the software now also boasts over 100 distinct reports. Already thriving with sales in multiple countries across the world, LandlordMax has been recognized and sold to small and large investors, property managers, as well as banks. The latest release is already proving to be more successful than anticipated as measured by the general buzz and the increasing number of downloads of the software.
The accounting section of the software is where the biggest enhancements over the previous versions can be seen. The most frequently requested feature added to the software for this version is the ability to store the payment due date, the payment date, and the discrepancy between the two, as well as the amount due, the amount paid, and the amount remaining rather than just a date and amount entry. This allows the software to consolidate between what is owed and what needs to be paid. Although this is one of the largest functional enhancements, even more striking is the new enhancements in the accounting list table.
The accounting list now has the ability to filter the accounting entries based on three main criteria: time, revenue/income/both, or on just one specific category, with the total of the accounting entries list presented as a separate row at the bottom of the list. The accounting entries list now also features user defined accounting color codes beside each accounting entry to show if an entry is early or late, and by how much. Additionally, the background color of the accounting entry row can be red, green, or yellow, to signify a payment hasn't been paid and is past due, is due in the future, or that it is partially paid.
Users will discover a number of other useful enhancements throughout the software, such as the ability to import and export Quicken and MS Money files through the QIF file format. New fields have been added to certain work areas, such as payment type in the accounting entry work area, a priority status in both the Workorder and the To Do sections. Another sought after feature, predictive typing, has been introduced to several sections, as well as the automatic selection of the tenant and/or building/unit. In addition, this new version of the software now boasts over 100 reports, with new reports displaying cash flow, late accounting entries, and expiring leases.
LandlordMax continues to offer unlimited data entry with the purchase of a user license, which is a rarely seen in its market space. The license terms have also changed to be more beneficial to its customers. All new licenses issued now include approximately one year of free upgrades and updates from the month of purchase rather than the month the software is released, potentially giving customers several additional months of free upgrades. LandlordMax also continues to offer free technical support by email, whereas most of its competitors charge substantial fees for technical support.
