Cravey Communications Founder Named 'Rising Star By Public Relations Group

Eric Cravey, president of Cravey Communications Inc. was given the Rising Star Award" by the Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. The award was presented by Immediate Past-President Kim Deppe, APR at the chapters September luncheon.

(PRWEB) September 7, 2004 -- The founder of a Florida-based boutique public relations firm was honored this week by the Florida Public Relations Association.

Eric Cravey, president of Cravey Communications Inc. was given the Rising Star Award" by the Jacksonville Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. The award was presented by Immediate Past-President Kim Deppe, APR at the chapters September luncheon.

Deppe said the award was given for Craveys hard work during the past year while serving as Chair of the chapters marketing and PR committee. Cravey was praised for garnering chapter sponsors, recruiting new members, and providing positive input at monthly board meetings.

Deppe also honored Cravey and fellow board members with commemorative plaques for their service on the chapters board of directors during the 2003-2004 program year.

At the same luncheon, Deppe was honored for her service to the chapter while serving as president for the 2003-2004 program year, which ended August 31. Cravey was sworn in as President-Elect and Vice President of Programs for the 2004-2005 program year.
