EPSON Launches Two New Multimedia Projectors Designed to Enrich Classroom Learning
The new projectors create a visual educational experience for schools with EPSONs latest large screen projection technology
(PRWEB) September 6, 2004 -- EPSON has launched two new multimedia projectors designed specifically for the education sector. The EPSON EMP-61 (SVGA, 2000 ANSI Lumens) and the EPSON EMP-81 (XGA, 2000 ANSI Lumens) projectors have been engineered so that they fit perfectly into any classroom environment and enable teachers and lecturers to enhance classroom teaching through visual learning.
With fan noise as low as 29 dB, the EPSON EMP-61 and EPSON EMP-81 are the quietest projectors in their class, and ensure that the audiences concentration is not disturbed. At the same time, the speaker volume has been enhanced. The powerful built-in 5W speaker provides just enough volume and high-quality audio, without an amplifier, even for large and noisy classrooms. Safety aspects have also been considered, such as the exhaust fan, which has been placed at the front of these projectors so that hot air is blown away from the class. In addition, the projectors use LCD advanced imaging technology, a proven technology with superior energy efficiency, which has been used in classrooms for many years and is easy on the eyes of the viewer.
The education sector has undergone rapid changes with the spread of Information Technology. The methods of delivering education at the classroom level are changing all the time, with multimedia projectors playing a major role in making classroom learning more effective," said Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, EPSON Middle East. There is a need for good quality, easy to use products to help develop childrens education and support specific needs. EPSON has created the two new models of projectors to enrich the learning experience and they represent good value for money for schools and colleges."
The EPSON EMP-61 and EPSON EMP-81 come equipped with brightness control. High brightness mode (2000 ANSI Iumens) provides the ability to watch a wide variety of media in bright conditions, whereas the low brightness mode (1500 ANSI lumens) reduces noise levels to an incredibly low level.
In addition, the new one-foot set-up, means the height can be quickly and easily adjusted. The projectors have an incredibly short start-up time (just 7 seconds) and an amazing 20 seconds cool-down time, to avoid unnecessary waiting.
The projectors are easy to use for beginners and experts alike. The EPSON EMP-61 and EPSON EMP-81 are designed to get the most out of every presentation. Set-up routines have been made as simple as possible -- just place the projector on the table, plug in, turn on and the auto keystone correction automatically detects the projectors vertical angle and adjusts the vertical keystone distortion instantly. The help function is further improved and most problems can be solved without searching through the manual.
The control panel is designed for ease of use and there is a wide choice of inputs, 2PC and 2 video in, monitor out and audio out allowing up to 4 different media sources to be connected at once. Presentations can be projected on a number of screens simultaneously to enable more than one speaker during classroom training.
