The 'X Zone Radio Show Returns to the International Airwaves: Broadcast from Hamilton, Ontario to the World, and Beyond

Canadian Broadcaster, Authro and Publisher Returns to Late Night Radio on TalkStar Radio Network

Hamilton, Ontario (PRWEB) September 5, 2004 -- Hamilton broadcaster Rob McConnell once again takes his late night paranormal/parapsychology X Zone Radio Show" back to the syndicated radio air waves.

The 'X Zone, a 4 hour talk show dealing in all matters in the realms of the paranormal and parapsychology, makes its return debut broadcast on the U.S. based TalkStar Radio Network Monday, September 6th at 10 p.m. Eastern -- 2 a.m. Eastern, Monday through Friday, The show is repeated in its entirety Monday through Friday from 2 a.m. Eastern -- 6 a.m. Eastern.

The 'X Zone will be produced from a home studio at the Tivoli Street home of Rob, sent to the TalkStar Radio Network satellite uplink station in White Springs, Florida and up to the Galaxy 4 satellite that services North America. For stations unable to receive Galaxy 4, TalkStar Radio Network is providing stations with a KU-Band dish.

Victor Ives, founder of the TalkStar Radio Network proudly states, We have very high hopes for The 'X Zone. It's creating a lot of excitement and we haven't even aired our first show yet!"

For listeners who cannot listen to The 'X Zone on their local AM or FM stations, The 'X Zone will be carried on the Internet by Pioneer Radio (www.pioneer.rolo.net) and NetWavesRadio (www.netwavesradio.com).

The 'X Zone Radio Show first aired in 1995 as a special feature on AM 900 CHML during the Bill Kelly Show, shortly after McConnells first edition of his paranormal newspaper The 'X Chronicles was published. The 'X Chronicles Newspaper, North Americas only paranormal newspaper, is now the print version of The 'X Zone and is available in print, CD or on-line at www.xzone-radio.com.

The 'X Zone is a place where people dare to believe and dare to be heard... its a place where fact is fiction and fiction is reality. Some of the many topics from the world of the paranormal and the science of parapsychology that will be explored include UFO's, Alien Encounters, Government Conspiracies, Theological Misrepresentations, Metaphysical Frauds, Psychic Impostors and so-called Ancient Remedies, Cures and Philosophies.

Not forgetting his Canadian roots, will feature a weekly segment appropriately titled, Creepy Canada." Over the years The 'X Zone Radio Show has been broadcast on 1220 CSC in St. Catharines, 1290 CJBK in London, NewsTalk 610 CKTB in St. Catharines where Rob was also the executive producer for talk programming and promotions director and then the LW Radio Network in Westchester, Maryland where the show was first syndicated in May 2001 while the show was broadcasting from CFBU FM in St. Catharines.

Rob is a regular on CH Morning Live on CHTV (CHCH 11 in Hamilton) and did on-camera segments, voice overs and was the consultant to the producers for the Canadian TV series Creepy Canada" which airs on CTV, CTV Travel, Discovery and OLN.

Brian ODea the producer of Creepy Canada said, For the past two years I have produced Canadas most successful Prime-Time Network travel show, and I can honestly say it would not have been possible without the incredible assistance of Rob McConnell." ODea continued, Rob was able to develop and deliver segment ideas, fully fleshed out, ideas which went on to produce; Rob helped writing, doing so in the midst of narration production (oh yes, he narrated for us, too), and he was on air host as well."

The success of The 'X Zone Radio Show was documented in 1998 by the BBC in a documentary titled, CONTACT" which was filmed when Rob was hosting the show at 1290 CJBK in London.
