Timetag Announces BillThis

New time-tracking product integrates with Microsoft® Outlook®, allowing attorneys and other professionals to track time with the same paradigm as sending an email. Professionals bill for time spent on e-mail and appointments by simply clicking the "BillThis" button. BillThis! builds upon Timetags groundbreaking technology that maximizes the capture of billable work by making time tracking a natural part of the billable professionals existing workflow. The company is rolling out BillThis! as part of the major enhancements in the newly released Timetag version 2.1.

Richardson, TX (PRWEB) September 7, 2004 -- At industry tradeshow LawNet, Timetag, Inc. announced its new BillThis! Product for upcoming release in September. BillThis! installs inside Microsoft® Outlook®, allowing attorneys and other professionals to track time with the same paradigm as sending an email. Professionals bill for time spent on e-mail and appointments by simply clicking the "BillThis" button. BillThis! builds upon Timetags groundbreaking technology that maximizes the capture of billable work by making time tracking a natural part of the billable professionals existing workflow.

BillThis! seamlessly integrates with Outlook, injecting the BillThis! toolbar and menu items into Outlooks own menus and toolbars and providing a highly optimized time entry form.

"Initial responses to BillThis! have been outstanding. Lawyers and other billable executives have very little tolerance for distraction by technology. BillThis! is intuitive for anyone who is used to sending e-mails, but not interested in data entry. Timetag improves the time-tracking process by closing the gap between doing billable work and capturing it. It takes ease-of-use and efficiency to a new level." states Leon Campise, CEO of Timetag, Inc.

With BillThis! there is no redundant data entry. The system extracts all available information from the Outlook item, such as dates and duration and even suggests a narrative from the subject and body of the item. Users can choose the client matter and task in a single step from the automatically generated favorites list, enabling complete time capture with just two mouse clicks.

BillThis! introduces several unique features, including the industrys most advanced matter look-up engine, task timers, and an exclusive Time Bar feature. Matter lookups allow users to instantly locate the correct client matter from many thousands by typing characters from any words they remember in the name, or typing a portion of the client number. The unique BillThis! Time Bar enables point-and-shoot, one-click setting of duration. BillThis! is compatible with Timetag Basic, Professional, and Enterprise editions.

The company is rolling out BillThis! as part of the major enhancements in the newly released Timetag version 2.1. The exclusive MyMatters feature solves the problem of keeping client matters on the users handheld device for validation when there may be tens of thousands to choose from. Rather than offload look-up operations to the server (which can be very slow or even unavailable), or bypass validating entries on the handheld (risking invalid data), Timetag MyMatters accurately determines all of the matters applicable to each user and only distributes those, enabling real-time validation of time entries on the device.

In addition, Timetag 2.1 includes features to enable secretaries to easily provide time entry support for timekeepers. Timetag 2.1 is easier to install, easier to administer, and can now be installed on any server in the enterprise that has connectivity with the e-mail server.
