"America Cares" Daniels Wood Land's attempts to organize a mutual California to New York & New York to California Charity Drive. All New York pick ups & drop offs will be at Times Square. Calling on both large and small businesses to open up their hearts and support a National Charity Drive that links the country together. While the same merchandise exists on both parts of the country, the national involvement and excitement is going to generate more donations for the charities then local fundraising. These extra donations can then be distributed to charities where it is needed most. Tree House Donations Occur Regardless: Contact Stuart Weinstein 416-948-8526.

Daniels Wood Land is a small company with both a huge heart and huge ideas. While already coordinating and committed to donating tree houses to a major charity/ show in Chicago and with the major network(s) in Times Square, the "risk" is being made to involve businesses large and small from both sides of the country to open up their hearts and give.

Daniels Wood Land believes a national effort is going to bring more donations in for charities then if organizations conducted smaller local campaigns, and reinforces the country's strength from coast to coast and from "Sea to Shining Sea".

All merchandise can be stored at the headquarters in San Luis Obispo or other warehouse facilities and then coordinated for sending East to New York. It is hoped that New York residents will take ownership of the project there in terms of shipping to California.

With entrepreneurship comes risk. Daniels Wood Land being a small company can offer the idea and back it up with both their indoor and outdoor tree house donations. The success of the project is going to require major corporation involvement and coordinated efforts by the transportation industry. One must dream and then hope that the dream becomes reality. This is a realistic dream that can easily become reality and reinforce patriotism, caring and a strong bond throughout the country thus generating a larger result and more donations to distribute where necessary.

"America Cares" is being initiated by Daniels Wood Land based out of Paso Robles, California. Although currently a small company (with a sales office in Toronto), it has been successful in appearing and donating its products on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and won the 2003 Grand Marshall's Award at the 2003 Rose Bowl Parade.

Since Daniels Wood Land has a fall project to do in New York, the concept is attempting to coordinate with a major show in Chicago and then the major network(s) in New York City to set up the Tree Houses in Times Square, as well as the indoor tree houses in the appropriate studio(s).

When Daniels Wood Land sent out another press release a couple of weeks ago--in respect to donating indoor and outdoor tree houses to registered 501(c)3 charities, it received calls which suggested sending out a press release and attempting to expand on the idea so that more people could be involved. From that Daniels Wood Land decided to encourage the New York/ New England states to reciprocate and show the western states that everyone from "Sea to Shining Sea" is American and proud of that fact.

The biggest winners here are going to be the charities. The non-profit sector are the ones that are going to benefit as currently increased need with lower funding is putting a strain on these organizations that represent around 6% of the US economy.

Daniels Wood Land is committed to doing its part as a very small company and recognizes the huge need out there. The company has many goals:

1.Grow so that in the future it can give back to charity at a higher level

2.Aim its tree houses and the "Timeless Magic Power" that both Indoor and Outdoor Tree Houses possess to those who need it most

3.Encourage businesses of all sizes to give what they can and be inspired by a nationwide coordinated logistical effort. We want small companies to think "wow I didn't think I could afford to give. But with all this combined effort, my company can't afford not to give" We want the large companies to think "the American people expect to see our name out there and it will be there"

4.Encourage the media to give major promotion of this project. This concept can be initiated by anyone and Daniels Wood Land doesn't want to discourage anyone from taking risks, being entrepreneurial and giving back to the community. It even acknowledges that for this project to be a success, it is going to have to be assisted by the media, the transportation industry and major corporations. Within that however, there exists the opportunity for any person anywhere in the country to do their part to ensure the country remains strong, connected, and caring.

Ultimately for this project (or any equivalent project) to have any chance of being successful, it must have an "icebreaker" and here it comes...Daniels Wood Land donating tree houses!
