Having many years of experience within the San Diego bio-tech and life science community, Ms. Taylor's appointment provides a wealth of financial management expertise to CFO Connect. Most recently, Janine served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Genicon Sciences Corporation, a leading San Diego bio-tech company with proprietary nanotechnology based integrated assay solutions. Prior to Genicon, Janine served as President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of San Diego based Applied Molecular Evolution, now a wholly owned subsidiary of Eli Lilly and Company, where she oversaw all financial, business and operational aspects of the organization. Before joining Applied Molecular Evolution, Janine was Manager of Corporate Finance at Centocor, a Malvern, PA company now owned by Johnson & Johnson.
Prior to Centocor, Janine worked as an Investment Analyst in London, England, for Sun Life Trust Management, a subsidiary of Sun Life of Canada. Janine received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Ursinus College in Pennsylvania, and a Masters of Business Administration degree from St. Josephs University in Pennsylvania.
