Education is Priceless for Special Needs Adoptions

The National Adoption Information Clearinghouse reports the cost at anywhere from $5,000 to more than $40,000. In 2003, the federal adoption expense tax credit increased to a maximum of $10,160 per adoption. Parents with special needs children can take the full tax credit regardless of their actual expenses.
