Toronto, ON (PRWEB) September 8, 2004
John Alexander, co-director of training for Search Engine Workshops recently explained, "We had been invited to come teach the staff of a private company a couple of years ago. A major appliance retailer wanted to build the search engine skills of their staff and the initiative was based on the Louisiana government, making available to them, a special training grant. Then two years later, it was approved." Alexander continued, "So off we went to Louisiana to teach our private, hands-on, SEO certification workshop as an inhouse program and helped this company build the skills of their Webmasters and IT department. Robin Nobles and I were delighted to participate in the government assisted initiative and with the availability of the LSU computer training labs, it was a very impressive learning environment indeed."
When asked about the name of the retailer, Alexander declined to name the business or Web site mentioning that, "They are already doing a good business as a top retailer of brand name appliances, but give them a few weeks and they'll be taking many other appliance dealers by surprise if they use all of the advanced strategies that we shared with them. Our students do extremely well for both visibility as well as increased business if they follow our search engine strategies and methods. Much of what we teach in terms of search engine marketing skills, are not taught anywhere else that I am aware of. The point is, they now have a great plan of action and I feel they should have a chance to at least incorporate the strategies they learn now, without a lot of people trying to examine their site. When they are done making their changes, they'll increase their search engine exposure for maximum effectiveness."
In closing, Alexander was asked if he would be staying for the LSU Tigers game which was being held at the LSU stadium in which some estimated an expected attendance of over 90,000 people in the stadium to watch. John Alexander said, "Regrettably neither I or my partner Robin are able to stay to see the LSU Tigers play. I have an early flight scheduled out. My partner Robin Nobles, has seen the LSU Tigers play many times and has told me it's one very special event. As much as we would love to stay and see the LSU Tigers play, we must return to begin preparing for our next public SEO Mastery Workshop, which will be happening in Toronto, Ontario up in Canada."
