KINGSTON, N.Y. (PRWEB) September 14, 2004 -- New Spirituality Communications (www.newspiritualitycommunications.com), the nations first public relations and marketing firm focusing on the swiftly emerging spiritual marketplace," has signed the worldwide Hoffman Institute (www.hoffmaninstitute.org) as its second major charter client.

The institute -- creator of the world-famous Hoffman Process, which empowers you to forgive your past, heal your present, and transform your future -- joins the well-known writer Neale Donald Walsch (www.cwg.org/neale/nealesstory.html), author of the best-selling Conversations With God" series of books, as part of New Spirituality Communications growing roster of blue-chip, spiritually focused clients. Walsch recently engaged the firm to promote his new book, Tomorrows God: Our Greatest Spiritual Challenge," and his spring 2005 title, What God Wants," both published by Atria Books, a Simon & Schuster imprint.

Hoffman, based in San Anselmo, Calif., engaged the agency to market the just-released Bantam book The Hoffman Process," by Tim Laurence. The book, which quickly went into a second printing, explains the Hoffman Institutes deep and powerful Hoffman Process, which influential business leaders, major celebrities and more than 50,000 other people around the world have used to free themselves from deeply ingrained negative patterns of emotions, attitudes, moods and beliefs that block happiness and intimacy.

The groundbreaking book, written by one of the foremost international leaders of Hoffmans eight-day intensive residential program, reveals closely held strategies for personal change that were previously available only to those who participated in the retreat.

The strategies are also explained -- and validated -- in a major independent university study that will soon be published.

Developmental psychologists at the University of California, Davis, have found in a three-year grant-research study that the Hoffman Process leads to significant immediate and lasting reductions in negative traits, such as anxiety and depression, and equally significant immediate and lasting increases in positive traits, such as spiritual experience and life satisfaction.

In searching the professional psychological literature, the researchers found no other programs or interventions that produce stronger and more lasting reductions in unwanted negative symptoms," according to a research summary.

New Spirituality Communications was formed in March by Gerry Harrington, a former executive producer of CNN, who rebranded his award-winning, 16-year-old public relations and marketing firm, previously known as Harrington Associates, after identifying a fast-developing trend toward a spiritual revival in America.

The agency offers a full range of strategic and tactical marketing and communications services. These services include branding strategies, organizational positioning, marketing of products and services, cause-related marketing, fund-raising services, integrated communications, media relations, guerrilla public relations, special-events management, editorial services, Web content development and trends research.
