Pericom In Production Using the Ingenuus Smart Expediter to Release Engineering Change Notices

Ingenuus Software Inc., developer of flexible and affordable enterprise class Business Process automation solutions, announced today that Pericom Semiconductor of San Jose, California recently went into production on the Ingenuus Smart Expediter Professional 5.0, a scalable enterprise-class business process fusion solution managing engineering change notices.

Frisco, TX (PRWEB) September 9, 2004 --- Pericom plans to use the Smart Expediter as a process automation platform to automate several complex product data processes such as bills of materials, part number assignment, and processes involving their contract manufacturing partners. Before implementing the Smart Expediter, it was taking Pericom 2 weeks to complete an engineering change notice. Now, they can release a notice in 4 hours.

The engineering change notice process was production ready in just 60 days.

Pericom is also using the Smart Expediter to automate several administrative processes, many of which address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. They are able to develop highly iterative flows using the Smart Expediter Flow Designer. After going into production with the ECN process, they immediately began working on other processes. Pericom expects to release a new process roughly every two weeks. They have released an IT ticket process, several marketing processes, and sales support processes that are very well received by their user community. Users, from the CEO to the field sales offices, are reporting ease of use and increased dependability once these processes are automated.
