Inspired to use Eastern icons for good fortune throughout, Simmons Beauty Take-Out offers a votive candle and holder packaged with a lucky, gold, Chinese coin; fortune cookie soaps; bamboo graphics (another sign of luck to the Chinese); and even tasty, authentic fortune cookies.

Simmons clothed the take-out cartons with a graphic label of a woman with long, flowing hair, luxuriously lounging in a jade tub. Her high-heel ensconced feet peek out from a lavish array of bubbles, and bamboo shoots rise up around her. In the background is a gold medallion sporting the Chinese sign for double happiness. The image is one of pampered elegance with the glamorous flavor of the orient.

Thats just what Simmons was after. "I really wanted to create a trend-setter in the beauty and gift industry," she says. I was so tired of looking at the same boring gift baskets."
