Innovation management experts will lead the Â?Innovation Management WorkshopÂ? series at Penn State in October. Workshops will help business leaders tap the power of innovation management to transform their businesses, improve profitability and reveal new opportunities for growth.

While business owners may understand that innovation is a competitive advantage, they may not recognize the extent of the advantage offered by innovation management. Companies which effectively use innovation management experience higher profit growth than non-innovative companies.

Noted authors and innovation management experts Elaine Dundon, M.B.A., Alex Pattakos, Ph.D. and Ernest Gundling, Ph.D. will host the “Innovation Management Workshop” series at Penn State in October. The workshop, “Seeds of Innovation,” will be held Oct. 11 and 12, and the workshop, “Organizing Innovation,” will be held Oct. 13 and 14.

“Seeds of Innovation” will offer lessons in creative thinking, strategic thinking and transformational thinking. “Organizing Innovation” will introduce the participant to the best practices used by companies to maximize innovation.

The Innovation Management workshops are designed for executives, managers, marketing strategists, CEOs, entrepreneurs, organizational development and business improvement specialists, product development personnel and people wishing to create an exciting work environment.
