Hollywood, CA (PRWEB) September 11, 2004 -- An anonymous publisher (off the record: Janet Fisher) and an anonymous Music Publishing House (off-the-record: Goodnight Kiss), anonymous songwriters and others produce a full scale rock-opera making fun of Osama Bin Laden.
34 songwriters collaborate on l4 songs about Bin Laden from different points-of-view: his mother, his therapist, his college roommate, his wife, and others. The one-of-a-kind CD, a brutal and scorching response to Bin Laden, is shocking in its sheer and merciless mockery. The CD has just been released via a collectible CD available on the web.
"This is the way 34 of us handle our stress and pain," says songwriter, 'Princess Ten. The 14 songs in the musical are composed of all styles of tunes. "We put together what we thought about this fanatic, scamming, snake-oil salesman and mass murderer and then put that to music. We have writers from all over the world who worked on this."
One listener said "the soundtrack of the CD is the sound track of truth."
"These compositions are jaw-droppers" said Janet Fisher, record producer and President of Goodnight Kiss Records, anonymous publisher of "Tall Tales of Osama Bin Laden".
Fisher says "There are a few defining moments in one's life, where you have to stand for something, or run from something". Fisher added "We choose to stand together, and sing about the view we feel is the real one, to fight the oppression of fear with our own message of truth."
Three Bay Area artists participated, one of whom is anonymous. When legendary musical artist Bill Spooner's ('Shes a Beauty) driving voice and slamming guitar riffs, merge with the poetic vision and wrath of historian Lani Silver, the result becomes track #4 on the CD. 'Osama, Your Mama Raised a Killer. The song is a prophetic contribution to the hilarious parody CD compilation just released, from the point of view of Osamas college roommate, Mohammed Rosenberg.
"There's some subtle rage deep down in the whole CD, but theres also a lot of humor here" said Lani Silver, co-writer of "Osama Your Mama Raised a Killer said recently.
Bill Spooner, the founder of the Tubes, is a teacher at Blue Bear School of American Music. Spooner has several gold records for hits he penned. Spooner has won Bammy Awards and been nominated for Grammy awards. Silver founded the oldest Holocaust history oral history projects in the country and conducted a staggering 1700 interviews with Holocaust survivors over the past twenty years.
Silver was named one of five "Women of the Year" (2003) by KQED (public television and radio). The two bring the furies of the American collective soul into clear view in their collaboration.
In a world where fear can gnash its teeth at the soft and susceptible, and send them fleeing deep into the torments of relentless and apprehensive discomfort, the songwriters on this CD do battle, prepared to give, applying their command of the human soul to the notes, rhythms, and lyrics on this mystifying collection of parodies. The songwriters provide a grand opportunity for all Americans, to dance on all of the dreams of Osama Bin Laden's.
