IMS today unveiled the new corporate website it developed for Physicians Plus Insurance Corporation (www.pplusic.com), a nationally recognized managed care organization. The custom web application combines a bold, intuitive design and enhanced functionality for their website with process improving web tools which allow Physicians Plus to more efficiently manage their content and data.

In addition to changes to the publicly visible website, IMS implemented a custom content management system with several unique web application modules which allow Physicians Plus to more easily maintain their site, reducing maintenance time while keeping the site consistent and better organized.

For instance we reviewed their Provider Directory database and detailed what data would be pulled from that database and how results would be displayed for website users." said Sam Hokin, IMS Senior Developer. "For other modules we determined how the application would collect or pass data to the appropriate Physicians Plus department or seamlessly integrate with third party application servers."
