On Thursday, September 16th George Ortega, creator of The Happiness Show, the worldÂs first television program entirely about happiness, is premiering a new show for White Plains, New York cable subscribers called A Program to Increase Personal Happiness.
The 28 episode series, which airs immediately after The Happiness Show at 9:30 PM, will be hosted by Dr. Michael Fordyce, who in 1977 published the worldÂs first happiness-increase experiment.
Through his pioneering experiments, papers and free on-line book Human Happiness; its Nature and itÂs Attainment, Dr. Fordyce has focused the entire field of happiness psychology on the end goal of all happiness research  helping us all become much happier. ÂA giant in his field, Michael Fordyce is to happiness what Sigmund Freud was to psychology, according to Ortega, himself a happiness researcher and the showÂs producer.
Dr. Fordyce begins the series by explaining why happiness is the most important aspect of our lives, and goes on to present in great detail his famous ÂFourteen Fundamentals of Happiness program for increasing personal happiness. The information he presents is not merely theory. Using this program, subjects in Dr. Fordyces experiments have succeeded in increase their happiness by twenty-five percent in a matter of weeks.
Happiness is getting hotter and hotter as a topic in the media, and happiness training companies are now competing to offer consumers inexpensive and extremely effective ways to succeed at their most cherished goal in life - happiness. Ortega predicts that Âas more people become aware of how easy it is to become happier through simple training, Dr. FordyceÂs video series is destined to become THE blueprint for new happiness training programs world-wide.Â
