(PRWEB) September 11, 2004 -- The FlashMap World Map is perfect for separating visitors to your site based on location or the language they speak. Each region or country that is clicked on has a link which can be either a static HTML link or a dynamic PHP/ASP link.

Using the FlashMap -- World Map. This is our newest FlashMap, we are expanding our FlashMaps to include the world. You can have an HTML page for each country or you can hook it up to a database so that the links are dynamic. (Example: http://www.yoursite.com/location.php?country=us) All the links are stored in a text file that is imported into the flash file. This allows you to change the links without knowing or having flash. The color of the map can also be changed from the text file to match your sites color scheme. Further customizations can be made to the map if need to fit your particular needs.

Using the FlashMap -- Popup Menu option, you get all the features of the Highlight option plus the below listed. The Popup Menu displays when the curser rolls over each state with election results or other data displayed for each state. Currently there are three variables passed to the popup menu for each state, this can be change to pass more variables if needed. The variables come from a text file which can be hooked up to a database. The possibilities are endless, if you have a need that involves a map, FlashMap is the answer.

Using the FlashMap -- Highlight option, the color of each state can be controlled separately from a text file. This text file can then in turn be linked with a database using Cold Fusion, ASP, or PHP. The color of each state will then change based on database queries. The background of each state can be changed independently from the overall color of the map to highlight store locations, display election results, demographics and so on.

Using the FlashMap --internalLink information can be displayed within the flash file requiring no additional pages. All information displayed is contained in text files which can easily be edited in Notepad without making any changes in flash. This text can include HTML tags such as email address, web address, and links to Map Quest or Yahoo Maps.

Using the FlashMap --directLink when clicked on, each state launches a new page. The HTML link is contained in a text file for easy editing. You can set up an HTML page for each state or you can have each state link to a dynamic page pulling information into a page from a database using PHP, ASP or Cold fusion.

Additional customization can be done to hook the map up with a database containing statistics or a survey. Not nation wide yet? That's fine, we can also create individual states, regions (Mid-West, New England, etc.) or just a few states where your stores are located. We also can create custom maps of other counties. Contact us today to get working on your custom map.
